and today

was a first milkshake of my life.... and well it was a hit.... next one will be better than sonic but i ava has had a cold and keegan and my throat is really hurting so i wondered if hers was too. she seems not quite like our girl... and so i decided a milkshake and brussel sprouts would be a good lunch. they were. and then after dinner treat was finger painting. this time ava was not scared of it nor was she grossed out by the way it felt as she painted her own belly.... daddy was at work so it was really an ava original

this almost made me cry.... they were so cute and keegan picked out a whole outfit which is not really like him form a fancy childrens store in dallas.

the new playroom. So we did some house work the few days after xmas before Ava and I went out of town.... The front room of our house was an office and we decided it really was never used except for computering so we turned it into a much needed playroom with an office corner. Here it is although its hard to take a picture of a room in a room
Uncle Zachary painted this for Ava for Christmas.... you might wonder what in the world... but here is the story. Ava loves animal noises... she knows them all and some extras. Like giraffes say pickle pickle... i mean they do right? she loves this picture. she goes up to it every day and says pickle pickle pickle and pints out the eyes and nose and mouth....

the rolling things corner..... minus the big car cause that was being driven or something..... but I (nicki) did give Ava the doll for Christmas. Keegan and I decided we would do most things together and Santa but then each get a few things we picked out ourselves and were kind of a surprise for everyone. Ava got the ugly doll on the self and also the fabulous rain boots in the next post.

christmas update

ava was s sick for weeks and weeks before Christmas and it kinda of was still hanging around during Christmas but here are some of the festivities. This was a couple days before xmas. We finger painted for the first time. Aunt Caitie was here to play too. Then daddy started painting Ava... did not go over well.
