we bought a house :)

Keegan and I close on our first real house tomorrow at 3 pm. We are so excited to have our own home. It has three bedrooms (that means guest room so come visit), a study a grea skylight and a big back yard. The neighborhood is great and has a pool and a elementary school in the development. There are also lots of places to take Jobina for walks and for Keegan and I to go running and to top it all off it is 1 mile away from the FEC (Keegan's business). We are not sure when exactly we are moving in ..... either the weekend after this one or the one after that..... we are painting this weekend (starting with Jobina's room) and then moving on to the study and hopefully more. We will either get all the painting finished this weekend with the help of Keegan's wonderful family or we will do a bit more the following weekend and move in the weekend after. Either way we are so very excited... I mean going from 600 square feet to 2000 is a big difference.

clean Jobina clothes

First load of baby clothes laundry ever done by us..... and it was so very exciting actually.
However, folding onsies is kind of odd they are just so tiny.

32 weeks

Jobina is doing and growing well. So two weeks ago we had a second level ultra sound to check one thing that was a bit of a concern to our new doctor but luckily turned out to be no concern and she looks good. Today the doctor read us the other details of the report (all of this was for two weeks ago (so 30 weeks) so she is probably even bigger now. Jobina was in the 75-90 percentile for size. She was 4.6 pounds and her legs measured as she was 36weeks old - shes got some long legs. so she is a big one... perhaps that is why i have now gained 13 pounds and can pretty much watch myself grow. So yes both Keegan and I were pleased that she was growing nicely and honestly a little nervous about the upcoming birth... hopefully she will not be 15 pounds like in my dream the other night.

da belly

ummm so people have been asking to see the belly. let me tell you it is getting bigger and bigger by the day. really. but here it goes.
things in texas are great. Keegan and I bought our first house and we close at the end of next week to paint through the weekend and move in the following weekend. We are so excited. And as far as baby stuff goes... well we now also purchased a crib and after a lot of ideas and trys we picked the nursery decor theme. That was a big step for us... so look for updates and pictures in the next few weeks. But the room is going to be a greenish color with a white tree painted all over one wall and the bumper and crib skirt are white with green edging - so despite being 31 weeks pregnant we are making good progress and hope to be ready for her when she is ready.

hi honey we are home

Well kind of... we are here and really busy and so enjoying living with Keegan's family. Its really really fun. However, we have found a house that we are going to make an offer on in about thirty mins and this morning we bought a car seat and stroller and a bunch of onsies. We needed a little distraction from all this house hunting that we have been doing the past few days and realized that we should start to Jobina ready ourselves since we have been too busy with other things and getting here. Hopefully on Tuesday we will have pictures of her to post from the 3d ultra sound.... we went twice last week but the first time she had both feet and hands covering her face. So we got confirmation that she is a she but that was all and then the second time we went back she was facing my back so we saw her spinal cord and according to the technician her very long legs. SO back again Tuesday - 3rd times a charm.
