So Ava has become very into trains these days. She loves to play with my little brothers train set that my dad brought around Christmas as a hand-me-down and since riding the street car in New Orleans thinks she likes to ride trains. So we went to this mall close by so the kids could ride a model train. Ava was in heaven. The three other adorable kids in the pic are Ava's best friends here. Grace the oldest then Lilly and then Caleb. She calls them "my kids" and really thinks she is part of their family. She plays with them daily at the gym and often again later in the afternoon. In fact when she sees their car she runs into it and wants to go with them. Sarah their mom has become my closest friend here and we work out together 5 or 6 days a week and really enjoy each other as well as watching the kids have so much fun.
Yesterday Keegan, Ava and I went to a good friends yogurt shop grand opening that happened to time with a Thomas the Tank Engine Festival. Unfortunately all the train rides were sold out and slaker mommy here did not know I should have ordered them on line but Ava loved just seeing everything and the petting zoo and glass blowing demo.... okay she did not love the glass blowing demo but Keegan did as I have tried to explain it to him several times and this made it all come together. The yogurt Shop.... Cassie's yogurt was amazing and both Keegan and I were so impressed/ excited for the Uptmore/ Wheat crew but especially Cassie.

baby number 2

well its not often i post about the baby on its way.... time is flying i have kinda lost track of weeks but think i am 15, its going to be 40 or close to that before I know it. Well we have been calling this baby Jazzy.... as Ava was Joba turn Jobina this is Jazzy with maybe becoming Jazz. However, I am certain that its another girl for us because that is what Ripps seem to do. Truthfully the fact that it looks healthy is what I am most pleased about and will love my two girls. I think Keegan would love to have a boy to play football with but as he said Ava and Jazzy can have good arms. Anyway... this post is overdue but a week ago today i felt the baby do some flips and an occasional kick. It has made it seem all the more real and exciting. If you ask Ava where the baby is she points to my belly that at this point sadly is already a little belly but its kinda are you fat or are you pregnant belly depending on my clothes. I do not think she understands anything else although she seems to have a new interest in babies when we seem them places. Yesterday and a few days before we actually painted what used to be our guestroom. It will be Ava's new big girl room if its a girl and Ava's room will stay the nursery and if its a boy it will be his room. We painted it a blue and grey and then next week we will paint the outline of the NYC skyline. will post picture when its painted.
