so we are out
Last day of work for both of us... the apartment is all boxed up and the truck is waiting for us in the parking garage around the corner. This was not an easy thing... parking in New York is difficult but try a Penskee 16 foot truck on the upper east side at 7 in the morning and it is near to impossible. But I sweet talked the parking attendant on 89th to take the over sized vehicle despite the fact that they were not really supposed to. So now the boys have to load the truck * reminder we live on the 5th floor with no elevator* and I will stay with the truck so that nothing gets taken out of it off the street. Tomorrow morning we will finish whatever we need to and turn in the keys and cable boxes and set out on our way to NC. Any guesses on how many pee breaks I will have to make us take? a lot I know and Keegan is prepared and really nice about it. Then we will part for a few days and he will keep on driving and I will chillax with the family for the weekend and then Monday I will fly to my new state and look at houses and hopefully find our new home. We will see. So it is sad to leave the city... what an incredible place. No where quite like it. I know that Keegan and I will come back often as it is very special to us. So hopefully safe and painless travels especially for Keegan who has about 20 hours to do by himself. And the next update will be from Texas. Oh my goodness... my daughter will be born a true Texan. What in the world? yeehaw.

Texas Texas here we come
So Keegan and I went to Texas this weekend for a very quick trip. He had an important meeting for the huge Family Entertainment Center that he and two of his brothers are opening this year (hopefully in time for fourth of July but we will see..... you know architects and construction always take longer but we will keep our fingers crossed). I spent all of Saturday looking at houses, condos and apartments in the area for us to live in for the next year or two until we decided what part of town we would be most happy in and what type of house we want to buy. It was exciting and a little overwealming. I love our 600 square foot Manhattan apartment that we have been in for a while but a little more space and cars and family made me so much more ready. And to top it all off it was like 75 and sunny all weekend and when we landed back at LGA it was 16 degrees with wind that really could almost blow you away. This trip made us both so ready and excited for the next step in our lives. As soon as I have our new address I will share it.

Movin' movin
Daddy finally felt Jobina (this is what we call her now, however it is not going to be her real name) I think it suprised him a bit how much my whole tummy moved. "How have I not been feeling this?" he said. "That is what I have been trying to figure out." But at last he did and he was pretty excited. I am pleased because it makes the kicks more fun when we can share them. I am getting much bigger and my back is aching and my feet are killing me but I am also so happy and excited. We leave the city for real on the 28th of this month if we are organized. My last day of work is February 27th ... crazy. Then on to phase two. Texas here we come.
