summer is here

well its 7:25 am. I have been up since 440. Met sarah at the gym at 515, ran for hour and then home and have been working on swim team stuff since i got home. I will leave for pool in 20 mins and be there till about noon. My two babies fast asleep side by side in our bed right now. Yep that is how this summer is kinda going so far. Ava has been with babysitter, friend, or gigi and pop pops (k's parents) a lot lately because of swim team. Keegan is off wed and thurs this week so at least those days she is with daddy. Its just swim team but honestly I am working a real job it feels like these days... except that it is outside in the heat. We had a meet monday which was 5 hours outside and then an event in the evening Tuesday so both days Ava had double duty of not being with Mommy. The one thing is that this summer I will actually make some good money so its kind of justifiable except when Ava turns up lip and says no mommy no work no work mommy play with me... and clings to me and then we part ways both with tears running down our cheeks. Now practice is in morning because school is out for everyone so hoping that leaving in morning is a little easier knowing we will have the rest of the day when I leave her with Lacy the babysitter.
