Jobina has a real room

but it is hard to take pictures within a room.....

ummmm sooooo

we are sleeping in our new house.....yes read that our house... we own it. Still somewhat of an exciting idea to Keegan and me. Its a bit disorganized but I am really trying to put it together the whole nesting pregnant woman thing. This weekend Keegan and I did a lot. It has been frustrating to me because there are so many things to work on and many of them I can't do because either they involve heavy lifting (can't scratch our new floors) or chemicals... like spraying for wasps that are not good for the baby and me to breath. But after this weekend Keegan and I were able to tackle a lot of the things on my list and more. He anchored a book case to the wall so that in some months (no idea when this starts to be a thing) jobina can't pull the book case with the TV on top of her. So now I am left with organizing, unpacking and hanging pictures and such. Today I cleaned the garage -- labeled all the house paint, made a garden section, worked on some of the hiking/ camping gear and tried to put order to the tools. Strange what things I seem to tackle but the truth is I can not do the study until we get our bookcase and file cabinet from Keegan's parents and I am waiting for the bedside tables I ordered to come it before I can work on our room.
As for Jobina well she made my belly really huge in the last two days... like it just went pop again - just when I thought I could not be any bigger oh she did. So maybe a whole more month or maybe not. Tomorrow she will be considered "full term" I think and we will see what the doctor says on Wednesday.... now that we go every week.

happy birthday to mom

So yesterday was my last birthday without a child. strange. Keegan had to work a lot so it was kind of an uneventful day and evening. But I did get a garden tiller to start a garden some day soon which is exciting and also a kitchen aid. So garden and cooking = mommy right? ha. not feeling mommy like today at all. I have not been feeling well and today I could not take it and called the doctor. She made me come in to get checked. Baby is good but she gave me medicine to keep the fever down and to get better quickly. Not fun to be really pregnant and sick. Hopefully it will go away soon so that I can do more house stuff and move in for real. Maybe tomorrow night will be our first night there. I will keep you updated. We should get internet there on Friday so that is a good thing for anyone who checks this blog out. I will also put up some pictures of the house now that the floors and the painting is finished. Just got to unpack now.

jobina in my belly today

okay so here is the big belly today. It is quite a ball that kicks and squirms constantly. She has dropped. Jobina will be making her entrance to this world sooner then her due date according to the doctor today. They did a full exam and the head is extremely low and the cervix is very thin (umm okay....maybe more than you wanted to know) but that means she is getting herself ready. So I should too. So of course this worries me a bit as I need all the time I can get to be the crazy pregnant nester lady and move into our house.
You see I guess I was just following every ones thoughts that first babies are always late and so that is what I have been banking on in a way. In my head I thought it would be the end of May or early June and now I am hoping to make it to May.... Really I think they got us excited/ nervous/ anxious/ a little scared of labor all for nothing. She will come when she comes. Babies tend to do that and the house stuff will fall into place.

Jobina's Room

So Jobina's room is finished... ready for floors which start today! 3 walls are white (one with a green birdie) and one is green with a white tree. Take a look.

2451 Teagle Drive

So we spent last weekend painting.... well Keegan and his family painted. They were amazing and so dedicated and really made it very fun. Jobina and I tried to be helpful and do what we could to help but kept our distance as to not breathe paint fumes. I also discovered that paint colors are tricky tricky. They change when they are on the wall.... okay maybe they just look different when you get them in a whole room. So Keegan will be doing a little repainting this weekend as well as a lot of trim work and lawn fertilizing. I will finish the only painting that I have been doing.... the tree in Jobina's room and then do some more upgrades like owel bars and light fixtures in the bathrooms.
Monday they are coming to refloor.... we are so excited casue we decided to put in hard wood floors and tile the bathrooms. So if all goes according to plan we will move in the following weekend ... like Saturday April 12th or something. Hopefully then we can get organized and settled. It helps that I have the nesting bug in a major way these days.
